Paul LaJeunesse received his Master of Fine Arts in painting from Bowling Green State University in 2006. His artwork investigates the relationship among individual memories of time, space, and place as a way in which we assign meaning to experiences and construct our sense of identity. He is a recipient of the Elizabeth Greenshields grant, the Fulbright grant, the Minnesota State Arts board grant and has exhibited nationally and internationally in Iceland, Saitama and Tokyo Japan, and numerous states throughout the U.S. He is a muralist and public artist with permanent works in Minnesota and Tennessee as well as numerous group and community murals. He has taught at Western Oregon University, Georgia State University, The College of St. Scholastica, Anderson Ranch Studio and The Grand Marais Art Colony. He currently resides in Duluth Minnesota.
