I am Nan Foker, a mixed media and collage artist. I started in Book Arts and had an epiphany about 10 years ago to develop my art skills to convey a message of joy and whimsy to share with others. I have successfully entered juried exhibits in the metro area and won two awards for my art pieces. I have a representational abstract style that includes Gospel Art and pieces inspired by quilt designs and things I favor. I enjoy combining collage with mixed media acrylic painting to engage the viewer with interesting textures, colors, and composition.
