Alison Bergblom Johnson is an artist whose work crosses media and genre, exploring disability, identity, and joy. Her genres and media include essays, collage, and storytelling. She is an artist, a writer, a performer, an artist organizer, a consultant, and a teaching artist. Some of the organizations she works with (now or in the recent past) include Springboard for the Arts, the Walker Art Center, Fireweed Community Woodshop, Strike Theater, and Mixed Blood Theatre. Her collage work engages with duplicates, editions, copies, and transformations using hand cut analog processes in addition to digital alterations.
